Changing a tire on FM 1960 is not a DIY job

Changing a tire in your garage is one thing. Doing the same job on a feeder-road shoulder with traffic flying past at 60 mph, in Texas heat, on soft grass where the jack wants to sink, is a whole different ball game. We set up safely, block the scene with the truck and lights, mount your spare, torque the lug nuts properly, and check the pressure before you drive. If the spare is flat too, or your car never came with one, we tow you straight to a tire shop and you have lost nothing.

What you get

A tire change done right

Safe scene setup

Truck positioned as a shield, beacons on, triangle out. You stay somewhere safe the whole time.

Proper jack points

Lifted on the frame where the manufacturer says, not wherever the bumper jack happens to catch.

Torqued, not guessed

Lug nuts tightened to spec in a star pattern, so the wheel does not wobble loose a week later.

Pressure checked

Spares sit for years and lose air. We check yours before you drive off on it.

Stuck lug nuts handled

Over-torqued or corroded lugs that defeat the factory wrench are routine for our tools.

No spare? No problem

We tow you to a tire shop instead, and you only pay for the tow.

Tire change FAQs

Quick answers

More and more cars ship without one. If there is no usable spare, we tow you to the tire shop of your choice instead, and you only pay for the tow, not a failed tire change.

Only with proper setup. We position the truck as a shield with the light bar running, set a triangle, and work on the traffic-protected side whenever possible. You stay buckled in the car or well off the road while we work.

A compact donut spare is for low speeds and short distances, enough to reach a tire shop, not for a week of commuting on US-59. A full-size spare can go farther. We tell you which one you have and what it can handle.
